Baton Rouge General, in partnership with Open Health Care Clinic, is hosting a Back-to-School Community Bash on Aug. 13 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The free event is open to all and will be held on the campus of Park Medical Academy at 2680 Bogan Walk in Baton Rouge.
At the event, children can check up on their health with sports physicals, and vision and hearing screenings. Adults will also have the opportunity to get blood glucose screenings, and COVID-19 vaccines will be available for both children and adults.

On Aug. 5, 2012, the new Woman’s Hospital campus at the intersection of Airline Highway and Stumberg Lane at 100 Woman’s Way opened to patients.
