Lin Dang, MD, has been elected to serve as chief of the medical staff at Woman’s Hospital for a one-year term. It is a continuation of her commitment to leadership and innovation at Woman’s having served as past vice chief of staff, past chair of the Medical Staff Peer Review, and currently serving as the chair of the Medical Executive Committee.
The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine has installed a new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, advancing the college’s diagnostic capabilities for both small and large animal patients.
The new unit, a Canon Orian 1.5T MRI, replaces LSU Vet Med’s original MRI, which had been in service since 2009. The acquisition marks the final step in a coordinated, multi-year effort to modernize all radiology equipment within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
