Woman’s Hospital has named O’Neil “Jay” Parenton, MD, chief physician executive. Parenton is a board-certified OB-GYN who has cared for women and families in Baton Rouge for more than 15 years.
In his new position, Parenton will serve as a key member of the leadership team while providing physician leadership for medical staff affairs, physician alignment, clinical leadership, ambulatory care strategies, service line growth, and physician enterprise development. He will work closely with the medical staff, clinical teams, and physician leaders to strengthen collaboration, advance clinical excellence, improve access, and support organizational growth.
