Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University hosted more than 30 students from Clover College June 21-22.  

The participants were high school students who attended 4-H University at LSU. As part of the program, a student can opt to participate in Clover College and spend a day and a half doing various activities. Students were given a packet with information on the different experiences offered, and they ranked them according to which program they wanted to attend; then Clover College matched students with their top choices.

Cancer Services held its annual Celebration of Life event on June 5 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, held each year on the first Sunday in June. Event attendees included cancer survivors and their families from throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Students at Claiborne Elementary School in Baton Rouge will be able to receive care at school from a family medicine physician, as part of a new school-based clinic concept between Baton Rouge General (BRG) and the East Baton Rouge Parish School System (EBRPSS). The clinic will launch with the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
