The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine announced the appointment of Rhett Stout, DVM, PhD (LSU 1994, 2003), DACLAM, as the new director of the Division of Laboratory Medicine (DLAM). With a journey spanning nearly three decades at LSU Vet Med, Stout has served as the associate director since 2003 and as an instructor and then associate professor in the Department of Pathobiological Sciences since joining the faculty in July 1997.

Our Lady of the Lake Health announces Lesley Tilley, MSN, RN, NE-BC as newly selected Regional VP of Operations for Our Lady of the Lake Health. In this role, Tilley will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Our Lady of the Lake Health’s mental behavioral health service line, Our Lady of the Lake North, Our Lady of the Lake Ascension, Our Lady of the Lake Assumption, Our Lady of the Lake Livingston, and other ambulatory sites.

Woman’s Hospital will host its Breast and Gynecologic Cancers Summit, a free educational event, on Sept. 30 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will be held in the Woman’s Hospital J. E. Dunn Conference Rooms 1-3, 100 Woman’s Way in Baton Rouge.
Continuing education credit is available for qualifying attendees and light lunch will be provided.
