Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University received a $12,000 grant from NetVUE to create a vocational discernment cohort for a student development training program called The Empowering Futures Project to equip participants with the tools necessary to guide students to discover their calling in life.

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) will host a free Alzheimer’s & Caregiving Educational Conference for Louisiana residents on April 23 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. CT at the Embassy Suites Hotel New Orleans Convention Center (315 Julia Street, New Orleans). The conference is open to everyone and will allow participants to learn from experts in the field of Alzheimer’s disease, brain health, caregiving, aging, and long-term care planning.
