Tiffany Everett, PA, specializes in primary care at Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola Uni- versity in New Orleans and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Lincoln Memorial University – Debusk College of Osteopathic Medi- cine in Harrogate, Tennessee. She completed clin- ical rotations in family medicine, pediatrics, car- diology, general surgery, orthopedics, infectious disease, and emergency medicine. Before join- ing Ochsner, Everett worked in general surgery, trauma, critical care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Mandy Keown, NP, specializes in lifestyle and wellness at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. Keown earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Louisi- ana at Lafayette. She completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, women’s health, and family medi- cine. Before joining Ochsner, Keown was a nurse practitioner in various skilled nursing facilities and long-term nursing homes in the Lafayette area. Ochsner HealthWelcomes OB - GYN Providers to Baton Rouge Region Ochsner Health welcomed several new OB- GYN and pediatrics providers to the Baton Rouge region. Bria Murray, MD, practices obstetrics and gyne- cology at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove with a special interest in adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, and reducing maternal mor- bidity. She is experienced in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques, treating conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, and pregnancy. Murray earned a medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a residency in obstet- rics and gynecology at the University of Virginia. Amanda Preedom, MD, practices general pedi- atrics at Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal, focusing on severe and chronic illnesses. Preedom earned a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, and completed a residency at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Tierney Rowe, NP, specializes in general pedi- atrics at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southern University in Baton Rouge and a mas- ter’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Rowe completed clinical rota- tions in pediatric primary care and pediatric oto- laryngology. She is also experienced in pediatric intensive care unit nursing, pediatric urgent care, pediatric specialty clinics, and pre- and post-oper- ative care. Rowe is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Our Lady of the Lake Health Opens Community Impact Center to Support Local Nonprofits Our Lady of the Lake Health announced the opening of its new Community Impact Center, located at 2041 Silverside Drive in Baton Rouge. The center will provide office space free of charge to 11 local nonprofits, creating a central hub for organizations that work to improve the lives of individuals and families in the Baton Rouge area. “We are thrilled to open the Community Impact Center and provide these organizations with the space and support they need to make a greater impact in Baton Rouge,” said Chuck Spicer, pres- ident of Our Lady of the Lake Health. “As we enter the giving season, this initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to being a good neighbor and partner to those who are working hard to make our community better. Nonprofits are the backbone of so many important causes, and we believe that by supporting them, we can all help make a difference.” The organizations at the Community Impact Center include: • American Heart Association. • The Safety Place. • Baton Rouge Area Youth Network. • Dialogue on Race. • Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation. • Capital Area Autism Network. • Move Project. • JK Reed. • OneBReath. • Louisiana Human Resources Development Institute. • Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits. The center will allow these nonprofits to collabo- rate, share resources, and continue their missions of supporting vulnerable populations, fostering social change, and improving the quality of life for all in the region.
