HEALTHCARE JOURNAL OF BATON ROUGE I  NOV / DEC 2024 23 THE PROMPT New York lawyer Aaron Siri, who specializes in vaccine injuries, put on quite a show perpetuating blank vaccine labeling disinformation that looks alarming to an uninformed populace. The transcript is below: “I went to the CVS pharmacy yesterday and asked my friend, the pharmacist, for the package insert for the COVID shot. And I said, ‘Do you have one for Pfizer?’ and he said, ‘No, we don’t use Pfizer anymore.’ ‘That’s interesting,’ [Siri said]. The pharmacist continued, ‘For all CVS pharmacies, we are only using the Moderna.’ I said, ‘Will you please give me the packing insert?’ This is the packet insert from yesterday. [The attorney held up a 4-inch by 3.5-inch folded insert which indeed had the writing, “INTENTIONALLY BLANK.”] Four years later, it says ‘INTENTIONALLY BLANK.’ Four years later, for the pharmacists, doctors, and nurses to have the information so they can understand the contra-indications to the medicine, the ingredients of the medicine. This is right now what is happening. [He then proceeded to unfold the blank insert, showed the large white sheet to the lawmakers, and yes, it was again blank.] I was in the emergency room, so I went into the medication room with the nurse, and I asked, ‘Give me some of the package inserts from the medicines there,’ and so she just grabbed a few. This is what it would normally look like for every medicine. [He unfolded a much smaller sheet with writing on it.] It is fine print. It is everything that you need to know so you can take care of your patients — whether they’ll have a drug interaction with another medicine, whether there are contraindications with another product. Every medicine has a packet insert that looks like that. I think after four years, they probably have something — at least a sentence they can put on there. [He opened another printed packet.] That is a lot of information. [He then showed a slide highlighting H.R.5546, as shown in Fig. 1.] Basic patients’ rights have been violated and suspended, including informed consent because of a 1986 law, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, saying you cannot sue a vaccine manufacture, even if you can prove it killed you or killed your baby or caused you to go blind.” Now, this all sounds pretty damming, and we can question why lawmakers protect certain entities when they cause harm and not others, but the point of the dramatic display Fig. 1 - Slide highlighting H.R.5546 - National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986
