Jennifer Clowers Named CFO for Our Lady of the Lake Health Our Lady of the Lake Health has named Jennifer Clowers as its new chief financial officer. Clowers has 16 years of service within the Fran- ciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, most recently serving as the system’s vice presi- dent of ambulatory services. She also has served in multiple capacities at Our Lady of Lourdes Health, beginning as vice president of finance/ controller before moving up to CFO and eventu- ally interim market president. “Jennifer has been an integral member of our system for years, and I can’t think of a better person to step into the role of CFO,” said Beth O’Brien, interim president of Our Lady of the Lake Health. “I have every confidence that she will help lead Our Lady of the Lake to even greater heights as we continue to adapt to an ever-chang- ing healthcare world.” Clowers joined FMOLHS in 2002 as a senior decision support analyst for St. Francis Medi- cal Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She went on to become the decision support-reimbursement manager and later the financial planning direc- tor. Clowers has both for-profit and nonprofit experience, as she spent time in leadership posi- tions at hospitals in both California and Arkansas before returning to FMOLHS in 2013. “I am honored to continue serving in the Fran- ciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System,” sais Clowers. “I look forward to helping Our Lady of the Lake continue to grow and serve the peo- ple of Baton Rouge.” Clowers earned both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Lafayette Class XXVIII and serves on the board of directors for Woman’s Foundation Inc. in Lafayette, the Spine Hospital of Louisiana, Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital Slidell, Our Lady of the Lake Pontchartrain Surgery Center, Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge, and the Lake Surgery Center. Woman’s Hospital Celebrates 10 Years on NewCampus Though Woman’s Hospital has been a staple in the Baton Rouge community for more than 50 years, the organization is celebrating another milestone this week. On Aug. 5, 2012, the new Woman’s Hospital campus at the intersection of Airline Highway and Stumberg Lane at 100 Wom- an’s Way opened to patients. In the months leading up to the move, a great deal of planning, preparation, and even prac- tice runs were involved in safely transferring all patients from one location to the other. In just 10 hours, the staff at Woman’s transported 61 women and newborns and 60 NICU patients to the new campus. To commemorate the 10-year anniversary on its new campus, Woman’s will be sharing notewor- thy statistics and accomplishments from the past decade, featuring babies born each of the last 10 years on its social media platforms, and holding a celebration for employees as they reflect on the last decade in the new facility. “This is such a great time for us to celebrate not only this new facility dedicated to caring for women and infants, but it’s also a time for us to celebrate all of the great things that have Woman’s Hospital Celebrates 10 Years on new campus at the intersection of Airline Highway and Stumberg Lane.
