Shah provides clinical care to general pediat- ric neurology patients and those with epilepsy. He has special interest in medically refractory epi- lepsy management including neuromodulation, epilepsy surgery, and dietary treatments for epi- lepsy. Shah is accepting new patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Neurology in Suite 210 at 8200 Constantin Blvd. in Baton Rouge. Shah has extensive research experience in child- hood neurologic disorders, including epilepsy, sleep, and autoimmune disorders. He received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Pravara Institute of Medical Science and interned at Sarvodaya Hospital and Medical Center in India. Shah earned a master’s in public health from New York University. He completed a pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hos- pital and Medical Center. Upon completing a child neurology residency, Shah became the chief child neurology resident at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York. He went on to complete a clinical neurophysiol- ogy/epilepsy fellowship at Duke University Hospi- tal and Medical Center in North Carolina. Fluent in Gujarati and English, Shah is board-certified in neurology with special qualification in child neu- rology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is currently an active member of various soci- eties, including American Academy of Neurology (AAN), American Epilepsy Society (AES), Ameri- can Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS), and Child Neurology Society (CNS). Woman’sWelcomes NewExecutive Leadership TeamMembers Woman’s Hospital recently welcomed two new members to its executive leadership team. Greg Snow joined as vice president of revenue cycle and Kevin Guidry as vice president of payor relations. Snow specializes in hospital revenue cycle management, cash acceleration, technology solutions, and increased incremental new reve- nue enhancements. Prior to joining Woman’s, he worked as senior vice president of market strat- egy for the complex claims firm, Enable Comp, LLC in Franklin, Tennessee. Using an enterprise- wide strategic growth plan, he maximized reve- nue opportunities by 70% over a two-year period. Guidry spent the last 15 years of his career with Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady (FMOL) Health System in various capacities. He served as vice president for managed care strategy and con- tracting, which included approximately $1 billion of commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Medi- care Advantage patient revenue. This came from across all FMOL Health System acute hospitals, post-acute facilities, freestanding surgical/ancillary centers, and more than 1,000 providers in Louisi- ana and Mississippi. Most recently, he served as president of Our Lady of the Lake Assumption Hospital in Napo- leonville, where he was responsible for providing the strategic direction and operational excellence of the facility. LCMCHealth and Tulane University Announce Partnership LCMC Health and Tulane University announced in October intentions to partner. Upon approval, Tulane Medical Center, Lakeview Regional Medi- cal Center, and Tulane Lakeside Hospital will be acquired from HCA Healthcare for a reported $150 million and will join LCMC Health. In the pro- posed partnership, over the next 12 to 24 months, the majority of services provided at Tulane Med- ical Center will shift to nearby East Jefferson General Hospital and University Medical Center New Orleans. As part of the partnership, LCMC Health has committed to an initial capital investment of $220 million in the operations of East Jefferson General Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Tulane Lakeside Hospital. “LCMC Health and Tulane University have shared values and a vision to partner to bring the best of community healthcare and academic med- icine to all those we serve,” said LCMC Health CEO Greg Feirn. “With this transformational partnership, we can build on our strong history of collaboration with our academic partners, Tulane University and Louisiana State University, to do more for our patients, communities, and region together than would be possible as separate orga- nizations. By joining forces, we will increase access to comprehensive and specialty care across our region, ensuring all our patients and communities receive extraordinary care, right here at home.” “Together with LCMC Health, we can combine our strengths to expand world-class academic medicine in the greater New Orleans area,” said Tulane University President Michael A.
