We have long realized that healthcare is not “one size fits all.” Every patient has a unique genetic makeup influenced by their own set of social and environmental factors. So, it makes perfect sense why a particular treatment plan or prescription may work for one patient and leave another still looking for answers. Even the best evidence-based care is only as good as the research supporting it. Unfortunately, medical research has long been limited by a lack of scope and diversity among its subjects. Enter the Scripps Research Translational Institute and their All of Us Research Program.
