Gaudet is an accomplished leader in and out of the orga- nization. She has been recognized as a Catho- lic Health Association Tomorrow’s Leaders, Baton Rouge Business Report Forty Under 40, Mother Gertrude Award recipient for our hospital, and is a graduate of Leadership Baton Rouge. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Loui- siana in Monroe. Guidry will serve as the administrator for Assumption Community Hospital. When he first joined Our Lady of the Lake in 2006, Guidry served as an administrator for Our Lady of the Lake’s Cancer Center where he was responsible for the administrative oversight, strategic plan- ning, and leadership of all activities related to oncology services. Most recently, Guidry served as vice president of contracting and payor rela- tions, overseeing the health system’s managed care and contracting strategy. Guidry holds a Mas- ter of Health Administration from Tulane Univer- sity in New Orleans and is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition to leading the daily operations at Assumption Community Hospital, Guidry will also lead the development of rural healthcare strategy. and national level. Johnson joined Woman’s in 2006 and previously served as vice president of perinatal services, overseeing all aspects of the hospital experience for women before and after birth, and as director of obstetrical services. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery, inten- sive care, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, and emergency room care. She was named the Louisi- ana State Nurses Association Nurse of the Year in 2011 and is responsible for leading several health- care initiatives to improve perinatal outcomes. Woman’s delivers more than 8,000 babies each year, making it the 16th largest delivery service in the nation and the largest in Louisiana. Woman’s Partnering with The Baton Rouge Clinic to Distribute COVID-19 Vaccines To help reach more people in our community, Woman’s Hospital is partnering with The Baton Rouge Clinic to distribute COVID-19 vaccina- tions based on the tiers set forth by the Louisiana Department of Health. Vaccinations will take place at The Baton Rouge Clinic Immunization Clinic, located at 7473 Perkins Road, and will be sched- uled as supplies are available. Anyone who meets the criteria should com- plete the online form at womans.org/vaccine to request an appointment. This does not guarantee an appointment. Those who complete the form will be added to a waiting list and called to sched- ule their vaccine as supplies are available. Our Lady of the Lake Announces NewVice President, Administrator Our Lady of the Lake announced two promo- tions within its hospital system. Wendy Gaudet, PharmD, has been named vice president of oper- ations for Our Lady of the Lake and Kevin Guidry, MHA, has been named administrator of Assump- tion Community Hospital in Napoleonville, La. “It’s a great pleasure to have the opportunity to acknowledge demonstrated leadership abilities with members of our team who are willing to step into a larger leadership role within our organiza- tion,” said Scott Wester, president of Our Lady of the Lake. “Their expertise, energy, and passion will continue to serve our ministry well.” As vice president of operations, Gaudet will hold Baton Rouge General Announces NewMembers of Board of Trustees Baton Rouge General (BRG) announced three new members of its board of trustees, each elected to serve a three-year term. They are Rick Bond, Brad Gaspard, MD, and Jason MacMorran. Rick Bond, who is also the incoming chairman of BRG Foundation board of governors, will serve as an ex officio member. The Baton Rouge native is co-owner of Bond Construction Co., and also operates Clear Net Worth LLC and Clear Proper- ties LLC. He has also served as vice president of the board of directors for the American Cancer Society in Baton Rouge. Brad J. Gaspard, MD, graduated from LSU School of Medicine and completed a residency while serving as chief resident at the University of Alabama family medicine residency program. Gaspard is the medical director of Baton Rouge General Physicians. Jason MacMorran, CPA, is a director with Postle- thwaite & Netterville’s Consulting Services Group and leads the firm’s litigation niche. He has actively served the accounting profession through his involvement with the American Institute of Certi- fied Public Accountants (AICPA). In addition to his service to the AICPA in the valuation and forensic accounting areas, MacMorran has been an active member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs, serv- ing on its board of directors and as its 2019-2020 chair.
