COVID-19 Vaccine Resistance Q&A Even before the healthcare workforce was celebrating and rushing to be the first inoculated by COVID-19 vaccines, many public health officials expected resistance by many in the general public to taking the vaccine, thus fouling their plans of herd immunity. As the beleaguered vaccine rollout begins in the general population, we wanted to ask those who feel it is their mission to educate the public on the benefits of receiving the vaccine why they anticipate pushback.
