Woman’s Announces Directors of Environmental Services and Facilities Management Woman’s Hospital recently promoted two employees to director positions. Corey Poret is the new director of Environmental Services (EVS) and Martin Albores will take over as director of Facilities Management. “We encourage career advancement, and both Corey and Martin have proven during their time at Woman’s they have the technical backgrounds and intangible qualities it takes to be leaders in an environment where we balance compassion and expertise to care for families in our community,” said Kurt Scott, chief operating officer of Wom- an’s Hospital. Corey Poret, who served as manager of EVS since 2018, has moved into the role of EVS direc- tor. In this position he is responsible for maintain- ing a clean and safe environment throughout the facility, overseeing an EVS staff of more than 100 employees and managing finances and resources for the department. Long-time employee Martin Albores has been selected as director of Facilities Management. Albores, who was first hired as an assistant super- visor of maintenance in 2007, has served as main- tenance manager since early 2020. The director of Facilities Management is responsible for main- tenance, plant operations, biomedical services, construction/renovation and electrical systems throughout all Woman’s Hospital facilities. Albores will take the reins from current facilities director Tommy Gautreau, who is retiring in 2021 after 31 years of service at Woman’s. LaDonna Butler Green is COO of SystemPhysician Group for FranciscanMissionaries of Our Lady Health System Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health Sys- tem named LaDonna Butler Green Chief Operat- ing Officer of its multi-state physician organization comprised of more than 900 providers. Green, who will lead collaboratively with James Craven, MD, is responsible for the operations, human resources, financial performance, and growth for the medical group serving communities through- out Louisiana and Mississippi. Specifically, she will give oversight to the clinic operations region- ally located in Baton Rouge, Acadiana, Monroe, Northshore in Louisiana, and Jackson, Miss. “LaDonna has led the operations of our Baton Rouge region provider group for the last 10 years, where she identified many opportunities for growth throughout South Louisiana,” said Richard R. Vath, MD, health system president and CEO. “Her knowledge, experience will con- tinue to be beneficial and advantageous as we increase access to care. Without a doubt, her exemplary leadership and integrity are deeply aligned to our mission and values as she guides our patient experiences. We are thrilled that to she has accepted this larger role leading our work throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.” Green previously served as vice president of operations for Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group—a 500 plus provider network serving the Baton Rouge region and the Northshore. In addi- tion to the operations, she was responsible for growth and development, assisting with prac- tice acquisitions, and implementing strategies to ensure patient access to healthcare services in south Louisiana. Under Green’s leadership, Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group acquired and opened 47 new clinics. “Because of my deep and abiding passion of operationalizing the Franciscan mission in health- care, I’m thrilled to lead and offer best-in-class and next-level leadership to Louisiana and Mis- sissippi,” Green said. “I look forward to working closely with our talented physicians who believe in providing absolute and first-rate access and care such that health outcomes are realized for all.” Green is a professional member of the Ameri- can Medical Group Association, Medical Group Management Association, and American College of Healthcare Executives. Green holds a bachelor’s in business manage- ment and a master’s in public administration from Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge. She is a member of the Southern Univer- sity Alumni Home Chapter. Baton Rouge General Brings Emergency Care with Neighborhood Hospital in Ascension Parish Baton Rouge General’s (BRG) new neigh- borhood hospital in Prairieville opened Nov. 9, accepting patients in its 14-bed emergency room and 10-bed inpatient hospital. Open 24/7, the ER joins primary care and OB/GYN services, physical therapy, and imaging and lab services, which have all opened recently. The 42,500-square-foot facility, located right off I-10 at 14105 Hwy. 73, is easier to navigate and was designed to create a new experience for patients, taking them straight from the door to their room. The new self-rooming concept means no wait- ing rooms and no clipboards of forms to fill out. “The design of this facility centered on what is most convenient and safe for patients and visi- tors,” said BRG CEO Edgardo Tenreiro. “We cre- ated a hassle-free experience at the Ascension hospital, and our plan is to continually improve the patient experience and apply the lessons we
