Ochsner Health welcomed several new OB/GYN and pediatrics providers to the Baton Rouge region:
Bria Murray, MD, practices obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove with a special interest in adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, and reducing maternal morbidity. She is experienced in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques, treating conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, and pregnancy. Murray earned a medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia.
Amanda Preedom, MD, practices general pediatrics at Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal, focusing on severe and chronic illnesses. Preedom earned a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, and completed a residency at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Tierney Rowe, NP, specializes in general pediatrics at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southern University in Baton Rouge and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Rowe completed clinical rotations in pediatric primary care and pediatric otolaryngology. She is also experienced in pediatric intensive care unit nursing, pediatric urgent care, pediatric specialty clinics, and pre- and post-operative care. Rowe is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
