FranU Offers Summer Program for Local High School Students Interested in Medical Careers

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is offering Summer@FranU, an immersive two-day program designed for local high school students to gain an in-depth understanding of life as a FranU student.

The event will provide participants with the opportunity to network and engage with current students and faculty, and also the opportunity for hands-on learning within FranU's state-of-the-art Simulated Environment Teaching Hospital (SETH). In addition, participants will be able to attend a mock lecture to experience class at the University.

This event will be June 13 - 14, beginning at 8 a.m. each day and ending at 4 p.m. on Thursday and 3 p.m. on Friday. The signup fee is $60 and includes all necessary laboratory equipment, lunch on both days and a FranU t-shirt.

"Summer@FranU is a unique opportunity for students to explore FranU's various program offerings. From healthcare to humanities, students will have an in-depth look and gain practical experience in a supportive and educational environment," said Rebecca Gruntz, director of enrollment operations at FranU. "We are thrilled to again offer this program and help students uncover their passion."
