The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will host its 41st open house on Feb. 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at LSU Vet Med on Skip Bertman Dr. This event is free and open to the public.
The open house is an opportunity for everyone in the family to discover the world of veterinary medicine and the latest developments in animal healthcare, welfare, and biomedical research. Students, faculty, and staff will provide information and exhibits on veterinary medicine and biomedical science. There will also be a petting zoo, a teddy bear repair station, and animal demonstrations. Other groups participating in the event include the LSU College of Agriculture, the Companion Animal Alliance, Friends of the Animals BR, the Baton Rouge Kennel Club, and more.
