Woman’s Hospital Recognized by Newsweek as 'World's Best Hospital' for Gynecology, Maternity Care

Woman’s has been named a World’s Best Hospital by Newsweek for the third consecutive year. Woman’s is one of only six specialty hospitals in the nation to receive this award.

Woman’s stands out in the rankings as the only organization specializing in gynecology and maternity care, earning recognition alongside renowned specialty hospitals such as MD Anderson (Texas), Boston Children’s Hospital (Massachusetts), and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York).

“I am so proud that Woman’s was recognized by Newsweek for the third consecutive year for excellence in gynecology and maternity care,” said Rene Ragas, president and CEO of Woman’s Hospital. “Every day, our team of medical professionals ensure that women and infants receive the highest quality of care.”

Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals ranking, now in its fifth year, is intended to be a resource to help patients make informed, data-driven decisions when selecting the right hospital for their medical needs.

The award is presented annually by Newsweek and Statista, Inc., using methodology to ensure quality and validity in certain data sets including recommendations by medical experts, patient experience surveys, medical outcomes, and quality metrics.

World’s Best Hospitals 2023 recognizes the best medical institutions across 28 countries.
