Woman’s Hospital is bringing back its popular Baby Grand event this Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Baton Rouge Marriott from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This free event provides education and resources for expecting parents in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities.
The event will feature physicians, nurses, lactation consultants, physical therapists, and other experts from Woman’s Hospital and community partners as well as local pediatricians and vendor booths. Prize drawings will be awarded throughout the event, including the $1,000 “Grand” prize giveaway.
Experts and vendors will address questions expecting parents have during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and caring for a new baby. They will discuss the best ways to have a healthy pregnancy, what to expect during labor and delivery, how to prepare for a successful start to breastfeeding, caring for your own body during and after pregnancy, how to create a safe environment for your baby, and more.
