Ochsner BR Welcomes New Medical Staff Members

Several new medical staff members across various specialties have joined Ochsner.

Caitlin Coco, MD, is a pediatric urologist at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. After undergraduate studies at LSU, Coco earned a medical degree from the LSU Health School of Medicine in Shreveport. She completed a residency in urological surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and a fellowship in pediatric urology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.

Michael Villasin, MD, is a primary care sports medicine physician at Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal and at Ochsner Health Center – Tangipahoa. He serves as team physician for Southern University's cross country, track and field, and bowling teams. He is also head team physician for St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, where he competed in NCAA track and field. Villasin earned a master’s degree in public health from the Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, where he also competed in NCAA cross country and track and field. He earned a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten and trained in various hospitals in New York City, Miami, London, and Kampala, Uganda. He completed a family medicine residency at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio, and a sports medicine fellowship at Kettering Sports Medicine Center in Kettering, Ohio. While at Kettering, Villasin provided care for several Dayton, Ohio-area sports teams.

Geoffrey Hogan, MD, is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove, Ochsner Health Center – Prairieville and Ochsner Health Center – Gonzales. He sees patients of all ages for a variety of conditions, including sports-related injuries and concussions, along with acute and chronic joint, muscle, and tendon injuries. He performs ultrasound-guided injections for joint and tendon injuries, and he performs ultrasound diagnosis of certain musculoskeletal related injuries. After undergraduate studies at Tulane University, Hogan earned a medical degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He completed a residency in family medicine and a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Chad Hille, MD, specializes in rheumatology at Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove and Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal. Hille earned a medical degree from the LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine and a master’s degree in pharmacology from Tulane University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and a fellowship in rheumatology with Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

Courtney Guillot, NP, is a family nurse practitioner at Ochsner Health Center – O’Neal. After undergraduate studies at LSU, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Our Lady of the Lake College Nursing Program. She also earned a master’s degree in nursing from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Lauren Landry, NP, is a family nurse practitioner at Ochsner Health Center – Prairieville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s degree in nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
