Two pediatric physicians have joined Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health to serve pediatric patients in the Baton Rouge region. LaTasha Henderson, MD, and Melissa Holland, DO, specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of minor to complex illness in children from birth to adulthood.
Henderson earned a medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, La. She completed a residency in pediatrics with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Henderson is board-eligible in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. Henderson joins Thiravat Choojitarom, MD, FAAP, Shana Hart, MD, FAAP, and Karim Suazo-Flores, MD, FAAP, in seeing patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Health Pediatrics at Denham Springs, located at 311 Veterans Blvd. Ste. B in Denham Springs.
Holland is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and earned an osteopathic medical degree from the University of Pikeville- Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Ky. She completed a pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Holland is board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics. Holland joins Horace Jay Collinsworth, MD, Amber Ashlee Denham, MD, M P Jayasankaran, MD, and Melissa M. McCormick, MD, in seeing patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Health Pediatrics at Goodwood located, at 8415 Goodwood Blvd Ste 100 in Baton Rouge.
