Trusted Provider Network Launches TPN Mind Health Clinic

Trusted Provider Network (TPN), Louisiana’s first and only professional behavioral health clinician network and database, launched the TPN Mind Clinic Series on Dec. 5 at Temple Sinai in New Orleans with more than 100 regional clinicians and healthcare professionals in attendance. TPN Mind Clinic is a series of talks designed to provide continuing education for licensed mental health clinicians to strengthen the relationships within the state and region’s behavioral health community.

The event featured experts Dr. José Calderón-Abbo, associate professor of clinical psychiatry at Louisiana State University’s department of psychiatry, and Dr. James Flowers, founder of the Flowers Institute and adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University, who specialize in addiction treatment and chronic pain, respectively. In addition, Dr. Patrick Bordnick also spoke on the TPN database that assists in streamlining informed behavioral health professional referrals across the region. “We’re very encouraged by the attendance of the first Mind Clinic, but even more so by the enthusiasm of the participants,” said TPN Chief Executive Officer Trevor Colhoun. “The eagerness to connect and engage is propelling real growth of our clinician network, making it an even more valuable tool for them to utilize in the workplace.” To learn more about the TPN network and future Mind Clinic events, please visit TPN.Health.
