Ashley C. Mays, MD, has joined LSU–Our Lady of the Lake Head and Neck Center. She joins a team of otolaryngologists trained in the medical and surgical management of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
Mays received a medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. She then completed an otolaryngology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, N.C. In 2018, Mays completed a two-year head and neck surgical oncology and total body microvascular reconstruction fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the original three comprehensive cancer centers in the United States.
Located at 4950 Essen Lane, Suite 400, LSU–Our Lady of the Lake Head and Neck Center treats benign and malignant tumors, infectious diseases, deformities, and facial trauma. The center specializes in a variety of services including head and neck cancer, surgical oncology, complex sinus surgery, thyroid surgery, rehabilitation, and more.
