The research department at Woman’s Hospital is seeking participants for its SWEET Study to learn if a once-a-week medicine, called semaglutide (Ozempic®), can help proactively treat women who are at high risk for diabetes.
Women with a history of gestational diabetes in the last 10 years who are not menopausal and have pre-diabetes are invited to apply. Those who complete the eight-month study will be compensated $1,000.
