The Lodge at Tangi Pines, a 100 bed skilled nursing and memory care facility with all private rooms, is set to open in late July 2021. Kaley Hill, president of Hometown Healthcare Management, LLC in Baton Rouge announced the opening. “The Lodge at Tangi Pines is a state-of-the-art care facility that has been built using the most advanced safety and sanitizing technology available today. We are excited to provide this wonderful complex to the people of Amite and the surrounding region," said Hill.
Hill pointed out that The Lodge at Tangi Pines has had a significant economic impact on the community of Amite during the construction phase of the project. He further mentions that the existing staff of Tangi Pines Nursing Home will move to the new facility with many new positions being added. “For our residents, The Lodge at Tangi Pines will give them and their families a beautiful, safe, and comfortable facility for their long-term care. For our staff, it will provide a modern work environment from which to provide our services.”
Once opened, The Lodge at Tangi Pines will feature 100 skilled nursing beds with all private rooms and bathrooms.
