The Louisiana Hospital Association’s Ninth Annual Winter Healthcare Leadership Symposium will kick off with an American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE) panel discussion addressing critical challenges and innovative opportunities in healthcare technology. The ACHE-accredited panel discussion will be led by Heidi Redmond Raines, President and CEO of the healthcare quality, risk and compliance services and technology firm Compliance Partners. This symposium, which will take place from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel, convenes hospital leaders from across the state around key issues that affect hospital strategic decision-making. Attendees at the event will include hospital and health system leaders including CEOs, administrators, physician and nursing leaders, and other key stakeholders.
“Care delivery is transforming rapidly, and innovative approaches to technology allow for effective resource allocation for healthcare organizations,” said Raines, who will serve as moderator for the healthcare technology panel. “This discussion will provide leaders from around the state with key trends in the industry and identify new opportunities that technology provides for guaranteeing high quality care for their patients.”
The introductory panel discussion, entitled “How Health Systems Are Using Innovation in Technology to Improve the Value of Healthcare Delivery,” is presented by the Louisiana Chapter of ACHE. Raines will be joined by three additional expert panelists: Tanya Townsend, Senior Vice President & CIO at LCMC Health; Nadine Robin, Louisiana ACO Network Operations Lead at Aledade Inc.; and Laura Wilt, Senior Vice President and CIO at Ochsner Health System.
