Our Lady of the Lake Welcomes Three Physicians

Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group welcomes Daniel Marsh, MD, to its team. Specializing in internal medicine, Marsh diagnoses and helps patients manage diseases involving any of the organ systems, including patients with advanced illness and diseases impacting more than one system. Marsh’s office is located at Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group at 7777 Hennessy Blvd., Medical Plaza 1 Suite 406 in Baton Rouge.

Marsh has been in practice for more than 30 years and previously served as the ACO medical director of clinical integration for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. He received a Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University, completed an internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Ore., and a nephrology fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Ind. He is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology.

Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Pediatrics at Zachary welcomes Melissa Eddy-Shelby, MD, as she joins the growing team of children’s health pediatric providers. Eddy-Shelby’s office is located at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Pediatrics at Zachary, 4242 Highway 19, Suite C.

Eddy-Shelby received an undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master’s degree from Mississippi College. She then earned a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She completed a pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. Her expertise is providing care from infants to adolescents, with minor to complex illnesses.

Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Endocrinology welcomes Marcela Astudillo Jarrin, MD, to its growing team of providers. Jarrin specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine disorders in children including diabetes, thyroid disorders, abnormal growth, disorders of puberty, and pituitary hormone deficiencies. Her office is located at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Endocrinology at 8200 Constantin Blvd. in Baton Rouge.

Astudillo Jarrin earned a medical degree from Universidad del Azuay School of Medicine in Ecuador. She completed a pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is certified in pediatrics and pediatric advanced life support. Astudilo Jarrin is fluent in both Spanish and English.
