Our Lady of the Lake Children's Health Names Jonathan Brouk as New President

Following a national search, Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health announced the selection of Jonathan Brouk as its new president. Brouk, who has served as interim president for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health since March, was named to the new role after serving in various executive leadership roles at Children’s Hospital New Orleans.

“Jonathan has extensive experience in hospital operations and strategic planning and will serve the longstanding ministry of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health incredibly well into this next chapter,” said Chuck Spicer, president of Our Lady of the Lake Health. “I look forward to partnering with him to continue delivering expert pediatric care at our children’s hospital, and as we continue to grow our statewide network of pediatric care together with Children’s Hospital New Orleans.”

Brouk will report to both Chuck Spicer, president of Our Lady of the Lake Health, and John Nickens, president of hospital services and chief of pediatrics for LCMC Health.

“I am honored to lead the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health team as president, and am humbled by this opportunity to advance the health and wellbeing of Louisiana’s children,” said Brouk. “Together we will continue to deliver upon the vital ministry of Our Lady of the Lake as we build a healthier future for children and their families.”

Since 2020, Brouk has served as senior vice president, chief operating officer and chief strategy officer at Children's Hospital New Orleans. Brouk began his career practicing corporate law in the healthcare group of a large national law firm headquartered in Chicago and a regional firm based in New Orleans, focusing primarily on hospital-physician alignment strategies, population health initiatives, and associated regulatory matters.

Brouk earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, cum laude, from Tulane University and earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago, where he was awarded a Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy Fellowship.
