Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute welcomed Thomas Marsden, MD, to its team of thoracic surgeons. Marsden uses the most innovative and minimally invasive techniques, including surgical robots, to provide precise surgical care of the lungs, esophagus, and chest wall.
Marsden sees patients at Our Lady of the Lake’s thoracic clinics in both Baton Rouge and Gonzales. He also performs surgeries at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension in Gonzales, providing access to premiere surgical care to Ascension residents.

Marsden received a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and earned a medical degree from LSU School of Medicine – Shreveport. He recently completed an integrated cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky – Lexington.
