Our Lady of the Lake Health announced that Christopher Trevino, MD, VP, Physician Executive Emergency Services at Our Lady of the Lake Health has been honored by Becker’s Hospital Review in its inaugural “Hispanic and Latino Leaders to Know” list. This recognition reflects Trevino’s leadership in healthcare and his commitment to promoting health equity and inclusion.

Trevino oversees emergency services across six facilities, serving approximately 200,000 patients annually. With more than 25 years of experience in emergency medicine, he has been an integral part of Our Lady of the Lake Health since 1999. In addition to his role as chief medical officer, he serves as the medical director for all emergency medical and fire services, providing support for the sheriff’s crisis response team in Ascension Parish. As the executive sponsor of the health system’s Veterans CommUNITY group, Trevino also champions workplace inclusivity, advocating for military veterans within the organization.
