Renesha Yarbrough, pharmacy manager-operations for Ochsner Baton Rouge, has been elected incoming president of the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She will serve as president-elect for 2023-2024, as president from 2024-2025, and as immediate past president 2025-2026.
Yarbrough has been a member of the group for eight years and previously served as president of its south-central region.
She joined Ochsner in 2019 and oversees operations for the Ochsner Baton Rouge inpatient pharmacy, surgery pharmacy and infusion pharmacies, as well as management of clinic medication distribution.
A chapter of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists represents pharmacists who serve as patient care providers in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory clinics, and other healthcare settings.
