Baton Rouge, LA – Ochsner Baton Rouge offers drive-thru PCR testing for COVID-19 six days per week at the former Runnels School (17255 S. Harrell's Ferry Rd. in Baton Rouge). Testing has no out-of-pocket costs. In August, the drive thru hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday, and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday. Hours in September are likely to change due to previously scheduled events at the location.
Testing is open to Louisiana residents, age two and older. Doctor’s orders are not required. Participants must bring a picture ID and insurance card, if applicable. Ochsner will NOT turn away patients based on their insurance status.
If you think you were exposed to someone with COVID, but don’t currently have any symptoms, the best course of action is to quarantine for 10 days.
