Louisiana Healthcare Connections Offering Provider Education Series

As part of its ongoing commitment to further quality healthcare, Louisiana Healthcare Connections offers top educational opportunities to its healthcare partners. The spring provider educational series featuring healthcare experts from across Louisiana is continuing through mid-June 2022 with additional options offered on-demand through ConnectionsU.

In partnership with the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP), the Louisiana Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics (LA AAP), and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Louisiana, each session in the series will focus on a challenging health issue confronting healthcare providers in Louisiana. A peer expert will discuss the issue’s impact on the state and actions healthcare providers can take.

These learning opportunities also qualify for continuing education credits (CEs, CMEs, and CNEs) for physicians, nurses, and social workers, where applicable.

The following lineup is scheduled for providers through mid-June: (Subject to change)

Wednesday, May 18 – Flipping the Script on Person-Centered After Care (Angela Guinchard Lorio, PRSS)

Tuesday, May 24 – Fluoride Varnish and Pediatric Oral Health: What Is It, How to Do It and Why! (Dr. Steven Bienvenu)
