Event Raises Money for On-Campus Housing for OLOL Children’s Hospital

Hogs Fete, a full day of music, food, and fundraising will benefit Hogs for the Cause and a Hogs House to be built on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. The family-friendly event, slated for June 26, includes a kids zone, silent auction, and more.

Hogs Fete will be held at Walk Ons, 3838 Burbank Dr. in Baton Rouge. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Children under 10 are free. Limited VIP tickets are available for $100 and include free drinks and access to a private VIP area.

Musical performers for Hogs Fete includes Flow Tribe, Hip Deep, Blue Verse, and Indigo and the Tramps. The Kids Zone is provided by BREC on the GEAUX.  

“As the first in-person Hogs event to be held in Baton Rouge, there is fun for the entire family,” said Katie Bliss, Hogs for the Cause Baton Rouge development director. “All proceeds from the event will get us one step closer to building our Hogs Family Residence, a 12-suite home and place for families to stay while their children receive treatment at Children’s Hospital.”

Hogs for the Cause announced plans to build the $2.25 million Hogs Family Residence in August 2020.
