Cody Milliman, MD, Joins Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center has announced that Cody L. Milliman, MD, an American Board of Internal Medicine-certified medical oncologist, is joining its cancer care team.

Milliman received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Louisiana State University. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following graduation, Milliman completed an internship and residency through the Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also holds a fellowship in hematology and oncology through the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Milliman will practice with Louisiana Hematology Oncology Associates. He will care for patients at the Cancer Center’s Essen Lane location and Mary Bird Perkins’ clinics on the campus of Baton Rouge General and Opelousas General Health System.
