Acadian Ambulance and the National EMS Academy are actively seeking individuals interested in a career in emergency medical services (EMS). For qualified individuals, Acadian offers a tuition grant and reimbursement program for the class, which is a 16-week course offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m.-9 p.m., with some Saturday classes.
The deadline to apply is June 15 with the course starting on June 20, 2022. The class will be held in the Monroe area.

National EMS Academy offers entry-level, continuing education and refresher courses for a number of EMS career pathways, including EMTs and paramedics. They are a nationally accredited EMS training facility with locations in Louisiana and Texas and are an authorized American Heart Association Training Center for CPR and ECC courses.
