easy to see that the latter part of the 20th century and the first
part of the 21st have witnessed unprecedented technologi-
cal advances in the healthcare field. Telemedicine, e-pre-
scribing, robotic surgery, artificial hearts, electronic pros-
thetics, and genetic screening would have been fuel for sci-
ence fiction just a few decades ago. Travel a little further
