Becker’s Healthcare has named Teri Fontenot, Woman’s President and CEO, to the 2017 “183 nonprofit hospital and health system CEOs to know” list.
The CEOs featured on the list lead some of the largest and most successful nonprofit healthcare organizations in the country. Over the past several years, Fontenot has led Woman’s through strategic growth, including a move to a new $340 million campus in 2012.
Fontenot was the 2012 chair of the American Hospital Association board of trustees. Other past healthcare leadership service includes a six-year term on the Advisory Committee on Research on Women’s Health for the National Institutes of Health, chair of the board of the Louisiana Hospital Association, and chair of the Chief Executive Officers Committee of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She currently chairs the LHA Professional and General Liability Insurance Funds.
