Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation hosted a celebration of 30 years of scientific discovery with a special Scientific Dinner on Nov. 8. The event featured a distinguished panel of former executive directors of Pennington Biomedical Research Center, including Drs. George Bray, Claude Bouchard, Steven Heymsfield, William Cefalu and Donna Ryan. Moderated by Fox 44 WGMB news anchor, Chad Sabadie, panel members each provided insight into their most significant discoveries and meaningful moments during their time as directors of this world-renowned research center.
The evening concluded with a glimpse into the future of Pennington Biomedical Research Center with the current executive director, Dr. John Kirwan. Attendees included congressman Garrett Graves, state representatives Pat Smith and Franklin Foil, and LSU president F. King Alexander.”
