Regional fertility clinic Fertility Answers plans to welcome back parents and their children they helped bring into this world at their annual Celebration Day event. This year’s celebration will be held Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at Zoosiana, the Zoo of Acadiana in Broussard, La.
The event will honor all 2,581 children born as a result of the efforts of the infertility specialists at both Fertility Answers centers in Lafayette and Baton Rouge since 2002. Families will enjoy a fall day at the zoo celebrating life while reuniting with the caregivers that made it all possible. Children can come dressed in a Halloween costume or as their favorite animal and will be treated to celebration cake and animal themed party favors.
“We look forward to this event every year,” said Dr. John Storment, medical director at Fertility Answers. “It is always fun to see these children year after year growing up. The day is always very humbling for me to know the impact the clinic has made on so many lives.”
The event will also be a collection site for baby items, such as baby food and diapers, to be donated to Faith House.
